With tools and materials within reach, I can quickly mock up ideas or demonstrate techniques efficiently. Or maybe we can just talk and look at some of the many teaching models I have.

I offer one-on-one session for my top tier Patreons and have been doing ad hoc consulting for over 2 years and the feedback I have been getting is that the sessions have been productive and enjoyable. Of course, I don’t know everything about bookbinding, and if I’m unable to solve your problem, don’t provide the help you wanted, or the experience was simply not what you expected, then I will provide a refund no explanation needed.
My experience is that most people seeking advice on specific problems, such as advice on structure design for a small run of artists books, can be helped in a single 30 minute session. When making the booking there will be a request to send me a brief message summarizing what you would like to achieve in the session. This gives me the opportunity to think about how to achieve your desired outcome. I may ask for additional information.
I use a calendar management tool called Calendly to manage bookings and payment. This simplifies time zone problems and scheduling around my activities. I keep my calendar up to date as best I can, but occasionally I will need to reschedule for unexpected family events. I limit consultations to 10 per month.
